As always if you want to get the best results out of any display you will first need to customize and define the various image settings to perfectly suit the location and your preferences. The D64U has several preset configurations but it also offers various options which allow customization of color temperature, brightness, hue, contrast and several other definitions for several different color tones which should allow maximal color fidelity. Unfortunately even with proper tuning the Sharp doesn't reach perfect color fidelity in certain situations but overall the performance is still satisfactory. The D64U does very in displaying deep black colors, a rare quality in an LCD. Another slight performance issue is lack of image uniformity across the display which causes slight banding, this is however not crucial. Minimize
