This is not an issue however as the scaling works perfectly and HD content looks superb. standard definition content also gets accordingly scaled upwards to fit the native resolution, this also works seamlessly. When it comes to features The PX77U has an array of customized options which are to be properly configured in order to obtain the finest picture quality for your viewing environment. This combined with the ability to store different configurations for every input source helps perfectly accommodate every connected device. On the downside there is no option to calibrate color temperature manually and there is no picture-in-picture mode. Connectivity wise there is an SD card slot for direct image viewing, a built in ATSC tuner, 2 HDMI, 2 component, and 2 composite/s-video A/V inputs as well as a composite video and digital audio outputs. Overall performance from this display is quite good with excellent black depth but it is hindered by small imperfections such as mild uniformity issues and slight inaccuracy in display of green color tones.
