The lighter member of Lenovo's ThinkPad 61 series, the T61 is a good offspring of the venerable T60, with some small improvements. While Lenovo has always made strong, sturdy computers, they have improved this area even more with an internal roll cage that protects the LCD and shock-mounted hard-drive. Windows Vista is part of the package, along with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 3 USB ports, 2GB of memory, a 100GB 7200 rpm hard-drive, and a 14.1' display with a 1,440x900 native resolution. And don't forget Lenovo's trademark- the T61 also has an excellent keyboard. My only disappointments are the unimproved processing speed (despite the newer processor), no memory card slot, no S-Video port or fourth USB port, and slightly slow memory...

Lenovo's warranty is only for a year, while most other business laptops carry an automatic 3-year warranty.
