Canon PIXMA™ Pro9000 InkJet Photo Printer
|
The Canon Pixma Pro 9000 is a high quality dedicated photo printer which provides higher quality than that which would suffice for a plain user and thus would better suit the needs of digital-photography enthusiasts. One of the key abilities of this printer is the ability to printer A3/B size prints and particularly provide long lasting high quality prints that will not wane over the years, this thanks to the new Canon ChromaLife100 ink. The Pro 9000 uses 8 individual ink tanks (green, red, magenta, photo magenta, cyan, photo cyan, photo black, and yellow) for extreme color fidelity, these are installed after installing the replaceable print-heads. Normal paper and photo papers can be fed through the auto sheet feeder at the top of the printer. Up to 10 sheets can be loaded at one time when using photo paper. For heavier media, a front feed tray is available. Once set up, the Pro 9000 is very easy to use, and you can print directly from your usual imaging application, or use one of the Canon provided applications. When it comes to performance, the Pro 9000 is a speed demon and it noticeably outdoes competing models in this aspect. Print quality also comes very close to identically match source quality and thanks to the superior saturation and vibrancy of dye ink colors are rich and blacks are a true black. With such performance and the improved archival life of prints, the Pro 9000 is a viable option for anyone needing a A3/B size photo printer.
