The Ibanez RG420 is an electric guitar with a real Custom Shop feel. The Ibanez RG420 has a thin, flat bound 24-fret, 3-piece Wizard II neck for fast and effortless shredding. Aesthetic touches include sharktooth fingerboard inlays and cosmo black hardware.Advanced Electronics- The solidbody RG420 guitar delivers a broad range of tones produced by advanced components and a unique pickup switching system. In the neck position is an Ibanez INFINITY 1 pickup that is versatile and responsive with warm classic tone and added output. In the bridge position is an Ibanez INFINITY 2 pickup that has enhanced midrange output and excellent dynamics. The INF1 pickup has an Alnico-5 magnet for individual string clarity. Controls include a master volume, master tone, and a 5-way selector switch.Edge III Tremolo- No other guitar maker has done so much to advance the art and science of the tremolo than has Ibanez.
